This site has been created to provide financial support for Don Bowen and his family as he fights stage 4 brain cancer. This is an opportunity for all of us that love him and his family so much to help with this ongoing battle.
Don and Eileen have been married for 23 years and have four incredible daughters from the left in the top picture: Lauren, Kelly, Megan and Amy to the right of Don.
Don worked at Sun Microsystems from October 2001 until he was laid off in September 2007. In December 2007 Don was diagnosed with a brain tumor (Glioblastoma Multiforme). On January 7, 2008 Don went in for surgery and by the Grace of God the doctors were able to remove all of the tumor.
Since the surgery Don has been undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatment. As of May 3, 2008 Don's latest MRI has shown shrinkage of the area where the tumor was. By the Grace of God and all of your prayers, Don's recovery is continuing in amazing ways.
